....and it was absolutely fantastic. Saw them at Brewery Ommegang in Cooperstown on Saturday night and it was truly one of the best concerts I've seen. The band was incredibly tight, the sound was perfect, the setlist was very well crafted, the beer was flowing, and the crowd was a very nice mix of people from little kids to people in their 60s. Everyone was very into the show all night long despite rain for the first 30-40 minutes of the show.

If, like me, you've listened for a long time but never seen a show I highly recommend getting out to see them at your next opportunity.

Caught them in Atlanta last time they were here. I saw only one night of a two night stand. I will try for both if the budget allows next time. Fantastic and spirited. Duane Allman's guitar made a guest appearance at the show and the Georgia crowd went nuts, as did I. It was a worthy loan and Duane would have been happy with the way it was played.

I have a recording of that from dime I think. You picked a great one to see!
I remember while listening Jeff introducing duane's guitar saying "it was worth more than everybody" in the place. Nels sure was inspired by that git that night boy- ripper of a show

A bunch of my old college friends live upstate and they were having a big meet up camp out. I went on Friday and money is tight so I couldn't go to Cooperstown.

One huge down vote for the Friday night show is that it was part of Newport Folk Fest and was only 2 hrs long ending @ 9:40.

The Fest is sponsored by Newport Storm Brewery. I don't drink much at shows but I like to have two. Newport Storm was serving RI Blueberry, Hefeweizen and an Amber Ale. I didn't care for any of them and had a Dells Frozen Lemonade instead.
Wilco rocked as always.

Good call. Beer isn't supposed to taste like blueberries.
Muffins and pancakes yes. Beer no.

"Only 2 hours long"
There was a Chuck Berry show I saw in about 1978. He raced on stage with a borrowed band, did a brilliant set with most of the hits (including, sad to say, "My Ding-a-Ling"), and the whole programme was over inside about 50 minutes. And no, it wasn't an early show/late show type of thing.
